Patrick and Dad went to the Willie Nelson concert in Salt Lake City.

We took a trip to Salt Lake with Dad and Mom and met our brother Christopher. We went down on the Front Runner a fast train that was great to ride. We saw the Christmas lights in at Temple Square and had dinner had our favorite place, Crown Burgers.

Paul the prankster. He does love to do funny things. This is him with a nylon on.

It has been a long time since we have posted. That's our Dad's fault because we really have been busy. Patrick is still working at USU and Dallin Paul is now on campus attending the Developmental Skills Lab. We still do Mooches and love to play with our nephews and nieces. We will post a few pictures. Love you all.

We both had Birthdays. Paul's was on August 28th and Patrick's was on August 5th. We had big celebrations with all of our family. Also we had a family reunion were all of our brothers and sisters and their families came. It was a blast. The first picture is Paul, the second of Patrick and the last one of us together with our nephew Isaac.

A few weeks ago Patrick got to spend some time with one of his best friends. They have been friends ever since they started school when they were just little. CLEANING UP

Dallin Paul and his Dad went up to their property in Idaho and tore down an old shed. Dallin Paul actually did most of the work. We took Dodger along as well. It was a great day. The first picture is of Paul and Dodger; the second is of Paul starting on the shed; the third is of Paul on top of the fallen roof; and finally the last pic is of Paul and his dad with the shed all loaded and ready to take to the dump. We drove to the dump but it closed at 4:00 pm and we missed it by a half hour.

OFF TO MICHIGAN

Patrick got to travel with his parents to Michigan and see his brother get his PhD. He was one proud brother and loved seeing his family. While there he and his brother practiced some of their best moves on the shore of Lake Michigan..

Paul likes Easter as well but he kind of stood back. He did take good care of his dog Dodger.

Patrick enjoying Easter with his family. Lots of his family is in the truck while he watches from the front. We throw Easter eggs down a big hill and he got his share in. We had a blast. As you can see there were plenty of eggs filled with treasures to find.

SATURDAY BUSINESS by Patrick and Dallin Paul's dad

From the time all my children were small I have had the tradition of taking them on "Saturday Business" which means that we load up in some vehicle (for some reason I like to take an old Ford pickup of which I have had many) and we go to "town" for treats. When we lived in Idaho the nearest store was about 8 or 9 miles away and it was a c-store called Will-O-Way. It has since been torn down.

You can guess this could be a pretty expensive venture because I am spineless when it comes to saying "no". Now most of the kids are off on their own but Patrick, Dallin Paul, sometimes their Mom and I still go on "Saturday Business" except we do it several times a week. Fortunately my grand children have offered me a chance to carry on the tradition.

When we first moved to Logan over 9 years ago we had a hard time finding a good c-store but we finally found it. It is called "Mooches" on Main and Fourth North. Some might say that all c-stores are alike but that is not true. We love Mooches. The primary reason is that they really treat us well and make a fuss over Patrick and Dallin Paul. If I go in alone they ask where the "boys" are. At times I have taken several grand children in with Patrick and Dallin Paul.

Here are a couple of pictures. First is Patrick and Paul with Mooch or as they call him "Mr. Mooch". If he is there he always stops and asks for hugs which they love to give. Dallin Paul usually won't hug people unless he really likes them; Mooch is on the top of his list and it's just not because of the treats. The second pic is with several of the family; that day we had two car loads of kids, in-laws and grand children. Thanks Mooches.
