CROSS COUNTY MEET

Patrick had a great day at the regional SO cross-county skiing competition today up in Ogden Valley. What a beautiful day and he took silver in the 3 and 5K.

NEW NEPHEW AND NIECES

Since we last posted we have a new nephew and two nieces.

Here is the newest; his name is Jonathan

And then Lily was before him.

And Lucy was before Lily. They are lots of fun.

We love our nephews and nieces.

IT'S ABOUT TIME

PATRICK'S BIRTHDAY

Patrick had a great time on his birthday.   We had dinner at Golden Corral (his favorite) then we had a birthday party at Chad and JoAnna's house.   We sang happy birthday and best of all Uncle Rick showed up to play him "On the Road Again".  Every time he comes Patrick requests it.  Thanks for all your comments. Patrick loved them.

We got to ride in my dad's cousin's Buick Riviera at the Cache Valley Cruise-In parade.   I think we were the hit of the parade.   We had a lot of fun. Thanks Katy.

Happy Father's Day

Patrick and Dallin Paul made sure their dad had a great Father's Day.  We got him an Idaho fishing license which he was very excited about.

Goodbye

Dallin Paul visited the grave of Dodger for the first time. It was on a hot summer day.  He sat there for about 30 minutes or more alone and talking to him.   It was pretty sweet.

We had a sad week at our home this week.  Our dog Dodger died.  He was 7 or 8 years old and had cancer.  It came on very sudden and he died quickly and unexpectedly.  He was loved by all.  Our sister Cathrine bought him but he lived at home.   Dallin Paul and Dodger were very close; they even slept together.   Paul was with him and comforting him until he died.  Patrick liked Dodger as well but Dodger and Paul had a very special relationship.   

Every night Paul slept with him.  Paul is using his Dad's C-pap in this picture.

He could be a very silly dog.

He was always a loyal and trusted friend. Rest in peace dear friend. 

Dallin Paul and his dad had so much fun up to Walden.  Paul loves to paint and he painted this entire picnic table and is going to do the bench next.  We had a great time.

Patrick had a great day at the Special Olympic Track Area Games today.  He won two gold and two silver.
