PATRICK THE ROCK STAR

So I keep doing Special Olympics and winning metal after metal.  This is cross country skiing.  I do track, bocci, bicycling, and other sports.

Do you think I could make it on the cover of ski magazine? Yea, met too.
My Mom made like 200 pounds of chocolates this year.  They are my favorite.

My Dad is into trains and I went to Ogden with him to see this old and very huge train engine. He was more excited than me about it but we had fun.
Look how tall the wheels were.  The train was at least three engines long.

I am not really into the caboose as much as Paul but I have spent some time up there.

This is my niece Ava and her brother Isaac.  I think they might be in trouble.

My Dad took me to one of my favorite places, Temple Square in Salt Lake City, UT.  The first picture is called the Christus and the grounds are beautiful. We had lunch with my brother Christopher who works near Temple Square.

My beautiful sister Cathrine spoils me and Paul. She takes us on dates and buys us things.  She is so fun and good to us. She ran the Boston Marathon again and other marathons, the Ragnar and other races.

Our Mom is the best.  She is lots of fun and takes great care of us.  Whew, she has lots of energy.

Paul and I were the stars of the Phillips family talent show. This is our granny dance.

PAUL KEEPING BUSY

We had a great time this summer just chillin.  This great hot dog bus came to town.  They were so good. They were tasty and they put honey on them.  This is Paul and Patrick.

Remember my Dad's caboose?  Me and Dad have been working on it for a long time.

My Dad wanted to kind of restore it but I decided we need to gut it and start over.
This is Paul starting to tear it down.

This is how it looked after I had torn our a lot of stuff.  This is me getting down to the bare floor.  I did most of the tearing stuff out.
This is one room we nearly have done

The dirtiest part was pulling out the wood and insulation. My brother Christopher came up and helped me.  We got dirty but we had fun. Christopher is lots of fun.

I did get go up to the mountains with my dad, sisters and nieces and nephews.  We had fun.  I love my nieces and nephews.

A COUPLE OF COOL DUDES.

So I may be cool but my dad is a slacker and hasn't kept our blog up.

If I wasn't so charming I might be upset.

Patrick up to the wild flowers and our place in Idaho

My dad took me to see a painting of my niece at an art show.  She is beautiful and the painting was the hit of the show.

IDAHO

We were born and raised in Riverdale, Idaho.  Here are some pictures of there.

This is the home we all grew up in. We now live in Logan, UT

We still have a small piece of property up there on the river.
We call it Walden.

This is part of it, you can see the shelter

Our Dad grows the best melons there

Dad also has an orchard, berry patch and garden

This is just before you get to our place

We have planted some pretty wild flowers up there as well
This is a picture my dad took of sunset

There is an old metal and wood bridge there. This is taken from the bridge and our property is on the right.

Our friend and neighbor Rusty Smith took this great picture near our place

This place in the orchard is very special to Dallin Paul because his two favorites dogs are buried there.  He takes good care of their graves. One of them was named Dodger and he slept with Paul.

Now we have the caboose at Walden and we are fixing it up

The only rule there

PATRICK AND DAD

Tonight my dad and I made some dang good Penuche.
It took a long time to make

But it was so good

MY FAMILY REUNION

FAMILY REUNION, 2013

So all of my my brothers and sisters and their families got together this summer and it was great fun.
This is me at the family pictures on Old Main Hill

This is my parents and brothers and sisters. They look pretty normal right? Just wait...
My Mom worked so hard to make it good. Paul is not real big into big crowds.

I got to have my birthday party while everyone was here. It was great fun.

NOW THIS IS WHERE IT GETS A LITTLE STRANGE. You decided if my family is okay.

Almost everyone decided to bridge jump, this is Christopher jumping from the top. He did a flip.  When he was in high school he jumped from here every month of the year. So did Rebecca. That might explain some of it.

He is supposed to be very smart?

Then all the little kids started doing it. This is Ava

This is Owen

My Mom. It might be inherited.

THEN THEY ALL FLOATED AWAY:

Mom and others

Beautiful Sophie

My Dad, has anyone seen him downstream since then?

I worry about my family at times.

Do you think there are enough of us? I have eighteen nephews and nieces all 10 yrs old or under.

Mikey got his Dad's dancing skills.

Thank heavens I have lots of beautiful nieces, here are just a three of them.

We had a talent show. Paul and I contributed with a Granny Dance.

Of all the talent shows I have seen or heard of this was one of them, barely.

This is my sister Cathrine and my brother Brian.  He is a professor of vocational rehabilitation at the University of Wisconsin.  They think he is really smart but I think he might be a client.

Don't ask me, it was Mom's idea

But a good time was had by all.  Boy did we have fun.
